Metro North Plaza Houses is part of the Recovery and Resilience Program of the New York City Housing Authority. The scope of work includes flood proofing to protect the buildings in flood-prone areas, new construction of annex to house the boiler and generators above the FEMA flood level, construction of a new energy efficient boiler plant, installation of standby gas-fired generators for all three buildings, construction of new electrical room to elevate transformer cabinets.
