Navillus considers its most important resource to be its workforce – in particular, our skilled laborers at each of our construction sites. For this reason, Navillus has developed a comprehensive safety program to protect its workers from on-the-job hazards and to ensure their well-being at all times.
Navillus Benchmark
Navillus has created a custom safety plan in conjunction with U.S. Compliance Systems and published a supplementary safety guide to address industry-related health and safety worksite concerns. Both the program and the handbook outline the proper procedures for performing specific tasks as recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Based on our diligent pursuit of these safety standards, Navillus has been awarded with some of the lowest workman’s compensation experience ratings in New York City.
Navillus Criteria
In order to guarantee the Program’s effective and timely application, Navillus has implemented a mandatory company policy to regularly train all supervisory and managerial staff. The policy also calls for the reevaluation of the company’s job site practices and methods on a regular basis. Navillus supervisors hold regular on-site safety meetings with their workers and inspectors, and evaluate site equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
At Navillus, the safety of its workforce is imperative. Through the Navillus Safety Program, each employee is aware of his or her surroundings at all times and is actively involved in ensuring the safety of others.
