Navillus’ most important resource is our ever-expanding workforce–in particular, the skilled laborers at each of our construction sites. For this reason, we have developed the Navillus Managed Safety Program, a comprehensive safety protocol that protects our workers from on-the-job hazards and ensures their well-being at all times.
Navillus Benchmark
Navillus has created and implemented our customized safety plan in conjunction with US Compliance Systems, a nationally recognized safety consulting firm serving the construction industry. We have also published a supplementary safety guide that addresses industry-related health and safety worksite concerns. The program and handbook outline proper procedures for performing specific tasks in keeping with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. Reflecting our diligence in adhering to these safety standards, Navillus has been awarded some of the lowest workman’s compensation experience ratings in New York City.
Navillus Criteria
To guarantee the continuing effectiveness of our customized safety program, Navillus requires all supervisory and managerial staff to take part in regular safety training. In addition, all job site practices and methods are systematically re-evaluated on a regular basis. Navillus supervisors hold regular, on-site safety meetings with workers and inspectors, and evaluate site equipment to ensure that it consistently remains in proper working order.
The safety of our workforce is imperative. Through the Navillus Managed Safety Program, each employee is aware of his or her surroundings at all times-and plays an active role in ensuring the safety of others.
Our outstanding safety record is reflected by our many industry awards. Some include:
